More Pink Moose pics, more of the WRX, M Roadster, Saleen Mustang

To refresh on the WRX.....

Meguiars DACP with a Meguiars polishing pad, Pink Moose with a Meguiars polishing pad, Poorboy's Natty's Blue by hand.

=============

1999 BMW M Roadster. The customer has two vehicles, I wash one, wax the other once a month. Last used Zaino Z5 and Z8 in early November, the car was still very slick when I washed it the other day (January 7) and it was pretty dirty so it isn't like the car sits. Anyway, just added another layer of Z5 and topped with Z8.

2002 Saleen Mustang. Owner bought the car in February last year, had only hand washed it since. Pretty fair amount of light to moderate spider swirls and some tiny tar dots on the front end. I clayed all horizontal surfaces, then started with Optimum Polish and a Meguiars polishing pad. It was working but slowly. I then used Optimum Hyper Compound with a Meguiars pad. It was working pretty good but I was getting some light hazing. I then tried Clearkote's Compound. Bingo! Working as fast as Hyper but no hazing. I then followed with Vanilla Moose and a green Propel pad, Pink Moose with a Meguiars polishing pad and finished with Natty's Blue. By the time I finished, it was pretty cloudy so no sun pics.

2003 Chevy 2500HD. Last waxed in late July with the new version of Poorboy's EX-P. Sits outside 24/7. Still beading lightly, paint still had some shine but slickness was very minimal. The truck had some light spider swirls since it hasn't been polished in more than a year. He told me not to go nuts on the truck since it won't really fit in his garage-save the concours level stuff for his Porsche Carrera that should be in by late March.

Anyway, figured I'd see how my mixture of pink moose would work.

A couple before and afters:

Seemed to do a real good job removing/filling light swirls

A couple after shots, just using pink moose:

After topping with Natty's Blue:

Scott, why didn't you try the DACP on the mustang? You feel it's not abrasive enough?

Scott,

I have VM, is it worth me running out to order some of the pink moose? The pictures amaze me and VM is so easy to use, it has become a go to product when people want a quick detail.

DACP dusts a little, Clearkote's Compound doesn't. I also was running out of sunshine as the clouds were filling in so I wanted to be sure what I was using would work.

topnotch-you can't order pink moose, you have to make it by combining Vanilla Moose and Red Machine Glaze. Sorry if I wasn't very clear on that.

Truck looks great and the BMW did not take much to get it right again.

Scott, I just read the previous post were you mixed it. I placed the order so I hope to try the combo by weeks end. Thank you for your help, this should make me a bit more efficient.
