Brand new '05 330i
Customer pics. Lighting wasn't great but since she was nice enough to send me the pictures, I thought I'd post them. Besides, even though she thought they weren't that great, once I resized them from 2304 x 1600, to 800 x 600, the image was much more clear. Actually turned out pretty good for low lighting.
New customer, referral from the owner of a silver M3 I had done. The car was brand new, she picked it up on Thursday after telling the dealer not to touch it. She'd heard enough from other BMW owners about Moritz to not trust them to prep her car. Very flattering to be called for the first detail, and that I had been recommended highly.
Anyway, the car looked swirl free, didn't notice any paint problems, just some film on the glass. I went over the whole car (including the glass) with Jeff's Werkstatt Prime using a blue Propel finishing pad, let it sit 30 minute (as instructed) before removing and the increase in wetness and gloss was very noticable. I then followed with Acrylic Jett by hand, which added depth and more wetness to the paint.
Again, I finished a little before 5 PM (sunset is 5:22 PM now), so the pics are a touch dark-as I suspect the ones I took will be as well.

Looks great as usual. I hate the sun going down so soon! The cold is bad enough, much less darkness by 5:30pm!

Looks great, I love that color. It's a damn shame the new 3 series are so ugly compared to that car. The small details on that car are amazing. The understated lip spoiler, the tail lights, the wheel/tire/fender well fitments, the headlight treatments, etc.

Scott is the MASTER of the PC, no doubt in my mind. I agree with 'if it works, don't try to fix it'.
But still....... I wonder why he hasn't jumped on a rotary.

If a ball-peen hammer can fix it why use a sledgehammer??? The rotary is just a tool...it's the skill of the man behind that tool (regardless of what it is) that provides the end product.
Beautiful work Scott...and hella good pics by the client!!!

Why do you think she bought the unbangled '05?

 What he said!
Most of the cars I do are not in need of major correction. I am sure eventually I will have no choice but to add a rotary to my arsenal as paints are getting harder. I'll probably go with the Cyclo first since fixed pricing has been done away with and Excel carries Propel pads for it.

Nice detail. I wish the light would last until 5.22 pm here. This afternoon the sun set a few minutes after 3. I didn't finish my car until after 4pm, and by then it was dark!

I think Dallas is a touch closer to the equator than Scotland is.
It helps we are towards the back end of our time zone. My son's college is just west of the eastern time zone, so even though we are both on central time, their sunset is about 40 minutes earlier than ours.
