Take a look at these® v.Acura TL, ML350, few shots of my car, nasty Caravan

Just a few more of the GS300 I did on Thanksgiving morning, I had to switch rolls in the middle of taking pics.

Optimum Polish with a green Propel lite cut pad, Clearkote's Vanilla Moose with a green Propel lite cut pad and Carnauba Moose Wax with a Meguiars finishing pad.

===========

2002 Acura TL. Friend from Austin was in town and wanted his car detailed. He is the 2nd owner and has no idea how the car was cared for but knew it wasn't nearly as shiny as it should be.

Before shot of the hood. Right side already polished with Optimum Polish using a Meguiars polishing pad. Left side untouched.

After both sides had been polished with Optimum. Not a totally fair comparison since there is way more blue sky in the second pic, but the hood definitely looks more clear.

After polishing the whole car with the Optimum/Meguiars pad combo, I then went over it with Klasse All in One with a Meguiars polishing pad and topped with Jeff's Werkstatt Acrylic Jett.

My 1999 Mazda 626 after proper polishing steps a few months ago, topped with Clearkote's Carnauba Moose Wax, then Optimum Car Wax twice. Washed with Optimum's version of QEW and QD'ed with Quikshine prior to taking the pics.

==============

2004 Mercedes ML350. Pretty decent shape and swirl free for being a year old. Polished with Klasse AIO and a Meguiars polishing pad, topped with Acrylic Jett.

I get to do his new Porsche 911 or whatever they are calling them now next. His has the 3.8 with 355 hp.

2006 Lexus LX470. Brand new, only had it 2 weeks and he's already put 2000 miles on it.

Obviously had some dealer prep, light rotary swirls in the hood and one of the rear fenders. Used Optimum Polish and a Meguiars polishing pad on those. No time for before and afters, I had one hour after washing it to polish and wax it. I then went over the whole vehicle with Clearkote's Vanilla Moose using a green lite cut Propel pad (cranked it up to 6 for a few slow passes) and topped it off with Poorboy's Natty's Blue Paste Wax by hand. Only 2 pics, I finished taking the second one as he was heading towards the LX to leave.

================

Had to clean a nasty one today. My normal customer's vehicles were either in the shop, they were in meetings off site all day and one was clean from Monday and he forgot his other car. They told me to clean up their delivery van, a much abused 1998 Dodge Caravan. Just vacuum out the inside, wipe off the layer of dust on the dash and panels, wash it, dress the tires and toss on a quick wax was what I was told to do. They weren't interested in claying, which it desperately needed, nor any polishing which was also sorely needed. I did what they wanted and used Optimum Car Wax to seal. Made a noticable improvement but obviously did nothing about the grit stuck to the paint or the horrible scratches in several areas. BTW, yes, that is a scrach on the front edge of the hood.

Not the type of job I prefer to do, but better than the morning being a total bust.

Just one pic, probably more than enough!

Scott, do your headlights need to be polished? They look cloudy. Your paint looks awesome though.

Are you just trying to use up whatever AIO you have left before you use the Prime or will you continue to use the AIO?

No, not cloudy at all, just at an angle they look like that. Not sure why. Believe me, if they were cloudy, my lights wouldn't be like this on low beam:

BlackSunshine-under Acrylic Jett, I will switch to Prime, since my order came in yesterday. I'll definitely use up the AIO though, probably use it under Natty's Blue, Souveran and other carnaubas-plus it works well with EX-P and DP's Premium Surface Shield. AIO is too good a product to toss.

Looks great as always Scott. Love the bricks reflecting in the hood of the LX470.
