Quick Detail of the 350z

Here are some pics from the weekend detail of the 350Z. I finally had the chance to finish off some of the polishing. Last weekend I tried out Optimum Polish with a Orange and Megs Polishing Pad on the back part of the car.

This weekend I experimented with the new Sonus polishes. I must say that they are so easy to use and very user friendly. SFX 2 with an orange pad and SFX-3 with a Megs polishing pad on the doors, front fenders, and front end.

I followed up with Clearkote RMG on the parts of the car that I used Optimum.

I must say that working on a black car is so frustrating. I know that this car will never be perfect with it being outside with a car cover. Wiping it down constantly and taking the cover off is going to take its toll. However, I am happy with the results so far.

The whole car was done with some OCW. Can you say great reflections...

I plan to put a coat of Pinnalce Souveran on before our club meet on 11/5/05.

I didn't have a chance to resize the pics so I put them in as links...

Enjoy..

Beautiful car, Pat! The paint looks terrific too.

I certainly can understand the frustration you can feel with black paint. Mine desperataly needs polishing but I just don't have the time.
