99' C5 Corvette Convertible

This was one of my details this past week. Finally it stopped raining here in Boston for a few days!.

It's a 99' Corvette, which has 12K miles on it so it was in pretty good shape besides a few scratches and some little tiny orange rust spots all over the paint.

My process:

Interior detail

Washed exterior, cleaned wheels & engine compartment

Clayed exterior with Opti-Clay

Spot-buffed heavier scratches with 3M Rubbing Compound.

Buffed exterior with Menzerna Intensive Polish with a white foam pad by rotary

Hand application of AIO

Hand application of EX-P

Dressed tires with Meguiars Gold Class Endurance Gel

Here's the pictures:

This car was sold to a wholesaler, so I was told not to go nuts on it. Guess I should have mentioned that. Nothing get's by us Autopians! Good eyes.

Now that the C6 is out, I just don't care for C5s anymore. Maybe it's just me, but the C6 got EXACTLY right what they just missed on the C5.
