2005 Toyota Runner-First Detail

Finally with the rain letting up here in the East I had the chance to detail my new 2005 Toyota 4Runner. The paint was in very good condition from the dealer. The AIO and the UPP made the paint super slick....

Wash with Poorboys Super Slick and Suds Soap
Clay-Mothers Clay Bar
Klasse AIO via PC and Lake Country Polishing Pad
UPP by PC with Lake Country Finishing Pad
QD Clearkote Quickshine
Tires-Eagle One Wet
Exterior Trim and Engine-Megs Exterior Trim Detailer (new spray version)
Wheel Wells-TW 2001 Protectorant

Congrats on the new 4Runner! Nice job, the white really shines!

Did you trade in your '00 for this one?

Nice work. Those are great SUVs (minus the weird sulfur smell from the cats problem); my dad has one and I always wish my F150 rode as smooth.

TKR128...yes I traded in the 2000 for the 2005. The 4Runner was such a dependable car when I had it. I had absolutely no problems whatsoever in the 5 years I had the 2000. The ride between the 2000 and the 2005 is like night and day. The 2005 handles so much better and the ride is fantastic.

Looks fantastic! I have an 05 runner in Stratasphere Mica (dark blue). I find the paint to be really soft and marrs easily, but since you have white you may not stress over as bad.

Sweeeet !

My parents have a white Buick Teraza that I've been thinking about doing with AIO & UPP, but I wasn't sure how UPP would be on white - UPP it is!! (besides, I have tons of the stuff and love the slickness and durability!).

Just beautiful work Pat and CONGRATS on the new ride!!!

My father has an '03 SR5 Limited that he has close to 50K on and he has never had a single glitch with it.
