Always read the products/process you use with interest I see now you have been using the Optimun compound and in previous threads of late the DP Super Swirl remover. I have been buying up some polished to take full advantage of my PC, are the above much more aggressive than Poorboys SSR 2.5? If I was buying either one or the other Opt Compound or the DP SSR for PC use what would you suggest?

Both products are very good with a cutting pad. I think the DP product is a touch more aggressive but it also dusts-about the same as
DACP does. You might want to hold off until the Optimum DA compound is ready. It is specifically designed (like the DP SSE) to work with the PC. Since GM is going to use Optimum products on the line and they use Dynabrade buffers (a more aggressive air powered PC), they asked Dave to adjust the formula to work with it. I don't know exactly when it will be out though. In any event, I've had excellent results with both Optimum and Detailer Pride's compounds.
Picus-honestly, I was amazed too. I wasn't sure if the PC, no matter what combo, would be aggressive enough to take out the scratches. Sure, a few remain but the light has to hit them just right to see them. The owner was very pleased.
Sean-you are correct, sir! Collinite is very impressive on red.
Rob-I am happy with both products. I have a feeling I am going to like 845 best on solid colors since it deepens the color a little. On metallics, I prefer a more neutral product-which is why today, when I detailed a Jeep that was black and metallic green, I used Glanz Wax instead.
Pat-I've been taking care of the H2 for a little more than a year, and 845 gives me the best look of any LSP I've used on it (Poorboy's EX-old version and Long Haul). The other two looked really good, don't get me wrong but 845 gave it such a cool liquid look I was blown away.
