let's see, the '80s stangs with 302 cu. in. V-8s made 225 hp while the camaros from that time with 350 cu. in. V-8s made 230 hp.
jump to the modular years, and the 4.6L DOHC V-8s ford placed in the cobras from 1996-1998 made like 305 hp. the camaros from that same time period had pushrod 5.7L V-8s and made like what? 285 hp in non-SS form, 320 hp in SS form with "ram air" intake. 1999 & 2001 cobras with 4.6L DOHC V-8s make 320 hp.
so ford may have been a little behind, but funny how they could always make similar horsepower levels from smaller motors.
anyways, it don't matter as long as it's detailed.
