I have to agree with the steamer being a long time user of one myself, it is a great tool. The problem I run into with my steamer is all the attachments melt, like the attachment you are using on the dash and plate, except for the corner (triangular) brush.

That's odd as mine show no signs of melting....either your tools are made cheaply or you have one heack of a HOT steamer!!
Thanks for the positive feedback and also on the pictures

Another question....when having the towel attatched, doesn't it just snag on the carpet or upholstery? If you try to rub a microfiber towel on carpet it doesn't move unless you really scrub. How does it work with the steamer?

Furthermore, taking the photographs as you do with the intention of letting us see your process, and then taking the time to explain and answer people's questions, is truly inspirational, thank you. | |

Not sure why the pictures don't work in your browser Maybe it's your cookies? Do you have Internet Explorer or another web browser?
If you can't get them to work perhaps I can email some to you. Quote: Originally posted by pigeonbus I know this is silly, but sometimes they have steamers on QVC that they show in action with no dripping water, for around $50. Just a thought...never tried them. They're probably junk anyway.

How does it work with the steamer? | Absolutely correct about some steamers costing around $50 AND some of they make work great but the key features one should look for in a steamer are a low/high power option, on/off switch at the handle and a nice size water tank. Mine is I think 2 quarts.
Also make sure you purchase a unit from a company that will uphold it's return/repair policy.
As for the towel, oddly enough it does not snag on carpets....Porsche carpets might be an exception as they are like velcro
The towel gives my carpets a nice combed look which I prefer over the extractor lines many other detailers put in their finished carpets....just a personal preference.
Thanks,
Anthony | |

Honestly though, as corny as it may sound, I am humbled by your thoughts. Thanks
