I washed it with his new 1Z shampoo which was my first time also and I really liked it. Suds well and they lasted the whole wash also.
After drying I Cyclo'd it with white pads and my tester bottle of Optimum Polish. Next came a layer of P21S and then a real light going over with some Optimum Spray Wax.
B&B on tires and Optimum on the wheels.
Hope you all enjoy the pictures......I have been asked by Porsche to detail their two new Boxters for their January 15th "Unveiling" so I'll be sure to post up lots of pictures from that event!

My friend, you sure have a way with paint!
Can't wait to see the pics of those new Boxters! Oh by the way, thanks for turning me on to the OCW! I just love the stuff! So easy to use and it leave such a deep wet look to the paint!
Keep up the superb work!
Cheers,

BTW, I'd be jealous of you doing a Porsche today, but I got to detail a '69 Dodge Dart and finally got some outside shots. Just love that lopey idle of a built 340!

Porsche owners, like Scott mentions, almost always take good care of their cars.
I have found for the most part that Porsche owners, at least among my clients, are the most anal about car care. Even over Ferrari, BMW and MB owners.
Porsche paint does clean up well but it's the sexy curves, the rear "hips" and the way they seem to really liquify the paint that really catches my eye (I may need therapy).

I've been lucky enough to gain a very good reputation amoung the local PCA members and it puts a huge smile on my face everytime I get a call to do one of those cars. I find the cars to be generally well kept and no matter how poor the finish is the paint gerrally comes around to looking liquidy fresh when finished. | |
