I hate etched german and swedish rims... It's such a shame. If you really want to get them clean, try a high grit wetsanding paper or a scotchbrite pad. Be prepared to polish afterwards, but it will work.

Great results overall though! Those rain spots were gross!

The paint definately has excellent clarity to it now

andriver - thanks! - I need money, so I will be detailing.
lokman - you are welcome.
MongooseGA - I really like #80 but needs shade(very easy to work with & great shine). SSR2.5 is like #83, but you can use it in the sun. Buy the gallon size and save lots of money. WIth the pc it is much easier to use. I will work on my car and going to take out that makita.
Sean - Those rain spots are still there. The car needs to be repainted. You can clearly see and feel them. Eaten into the paint. I tried to take after pictures of them but somehow they didn't show. Thanks for the suggestion on the wheels. I started at 8:19 am and finished at 3:00pm. This guy is SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Send a message via AIM to MongooseGA
So #83 = SR2.5, and #80 = SSR2?

Would you reccomend SSR3 with the PC?

Yes.

I have over 1 gallon of ssr3, but ssr2.5 is so good at removing swirls that I don't think I have the need to use it. I will though once I switch to the rotary.
