even if they were in bikinis, i don't think i'd let them wash my cars!

You know... the ones that let "pros" dry 5-10 cars, polish the chrome, wipe the dash, and clean the windows all before needin a second mf.

This woman touched up the side of her car then used a green scouring pad to level the paint back out.
Started off with Clearkote's still unreleased Blue Moose Cutting Creme, DACP, Swirl Free, Vanilla Moose and Carnauba Moose.

I have a guy who's car is swirled just as badly as that sebring and he wants me to just put a layer of wax on it for the winter. I'm going to try and convince him to let me clear up the finish but he seems to be the penny pinching type and doesn't seem to care much about his cars

What I was trying to ask is if you have ever ""failed"" to do the job that you would be proud of.
the after pictures are coming in a minute.

the after pictures are coming in a minute. | Of course I have run across cars I just couldn't do much with. One guy wanted me to detail his ragged out mid 80's GM sedan and station wagon when I was first starting out. Both were seriously laquer checked and I just couldn't do anything with the horizontal surfaces. Some rips and tears in the interiors too. Even after I cleaned them up, I was seriously dissatisfied with the results even though the customer seemed pleased. I wouldn't take a job like that now.

Only you know if the PC will get more out as you know how much effort you put into it the first time. But hey, it looks damn good to me. That third pic is Awesome. Don't lose sleep over it, looks like a job well done.

Honestly, sometimes there is only so much you can do. The trunk looks like its pitting which is pretty normal with neglected vehicles, especially domestics.
What was your LSP?

Only a small proportion of the populations is going to appreciate what could be done if money was no object.
Be pleased with your work...it's a great job.
Nice pictures too. | |
