Thread: Wolfgang topped with Victoria Wax

    Wolfgang topped with Victoria Wax

It was a late night last night....in fact all week has been early mornings and late nights...very busy

This morning by 12:00 PM we had 2 details done plus one half way done and two more waiting in the wings....big $$$$ day but then all hell broke loose.......it rained and rained and rained some more

Well late yesterday I finished this 350Z, silver in color and just an awesome car! Man I love this car........lots of bang for the buck!

I polished with Light Cut hand applied Wolfgang and I was going to top it off with Pizazz but as I was digging for the Pizazz in my wax bag I came across the tester tub of Victoria Cruisin Wax that was sent to me several weeks ago.

The application process is rather odd in that the makers of the wax highly suggest it be applied with your warm hands or fingertips The reasoning is that after awhile the foam pad will become polluted and mess with the wax concentration. Sounds reasonable.

I did end up liking the VCW and when used on top of the WG gave off some really nice gloss and reflectivity. Waxing Frenzy is used on the wheels.

    Here are a few pics,

Zymol's estate and specialty waxes asked the same thing, application by hand (literally) and heated with same. Didnt like the idea then, and dont like it now. Nice pics however.

    Hey thanks guys!

I have a messed up Mercedes to detail full out tomorrow (if the rain stays away ) and it is dark gray in color and I'll most likely try this same combo again to see how it looks on something dark............OR maybe FMJ and the Victoria

    Thanks again,
    Anthony

Victoria Wax claims to be a "beautification" wax or a concours type wax. This particular wax claims to be 40% carnuaba, another wax made by them I think is 30 or 35% carnauba.

They also have a paint cleaner/mild polish.

The Cruisin wax is suppossed to be applied with your hands.....not BY hand but literally with the hand. The maker claims that if you use a wax applicator then a good portion of the wax stays in the foam, where the carrier solvents seperate. If applied by hand it is 100% effective, or so goes the claim, seems to make some sense.

The smell is great and it goes on smooth and is wiped off right away. It is a paste wax and I was sent it as a sample.

To find out more go to (I think this is the website) www.victoriawax.com

The guys name is David Wyllie.....tell em Anthony sent ya
