Re: Mustang GT Nightmare by Unique Car Care - (Enter at your own risk!!)
NICE JOB!!! The key is three words Menzerna and rotary polisher. Lets not forget the fact this guy obviously knows how to MACHINE POLISH, which is key in any paint correction...like I have been saying for 38 years if you cant machine polish you CANT be a detailer. Nice job my friend...the client must have been very pleased. I have one of these cars myself...the clearcoats are not easily corrected once a meat cutter gets hold of it. GOOD WORK! Good pics.

Wow rick . . . . well the main thing is came out great. I was in the same exact situation where i spent way more time then i actually had quoted for and i spent about 18hrs total over a few days. Not sure what it is with those paints but boy it just wasn't fun.

That beast got blacked out. The befores look like Ryan rubbed it blind folded with rocks in a bottle via twisted wool.

Re: Mustang GT Nightmare by Unique Car Care - (Enter at your own risk!!)
TLMitchell- Thanks again!
DW849- No problem, thanks!
Got_Leather- Thanks DJ!
I sent the guy a PM, so let me know if you hear from him...
bufferbarry- Thanks Barry!
I'm just trying to keep up with you and all of the great details you've been pumping out! The new Hydro-tech pads are awesome on certain paint and can be a huge timesaver. I was lucky I didn't have to break out the wool for this one. Yes, unfortunately I wasn't able to get any sun shots, but I talked to Ryan and he said he snapped a couple for me when he was moving cars around. I'll see if he can post them up for me.
aleicgrant- Haha... I wouldn't doubt it!! Thanks!
mc01ta- So, I take it you don't like body shops or mechanics!
I completely agree... A huge percentage of the work I do is fixing other peoples mistakes. While it is aggrevating, I guess it is job security! Thanks for the kind words!
XxMerlinxX- Thank you!
dsms-Thanks a lot Dave!
The shop is always full of cars... Ryan says I'm like a squirrel, packing as many cars in the shop as possible! I think it's almost time for a bigger shop!
BTW, did you ever hear from the guy with the Aston?
d00t- Thanks!
VALE TUDO- Thank you!
paintxpert- Thank you very much! Although the PC is great for certain jobs, you can't beat the rotary for severely neglected paint as this Mustang had. Menzerna rocks!

Re: Mustang GT Nightmare by Unique Car Care - (Enter at your own risk!!)
Strokin04- Thanks a lot!
Labster- Thanks! . I get all the fun ones to work on
vtec92civic- Thank you!
It was difficult paint to work with, but luckily I was able to make progress and get it looking good in the end...
Scottwax- Thanks Scott!
David Fermani- Thanks! Sometimes Ryan sleeps at the shop and has been known to sleep walk. Maybe he got up in the middle of the night and swirled it up on me? I'll have to review the security tapes...
pampos- Thanks buddy!

Actually the FUNNYthing is......... I was picturing Ryan saying that, oh btw is the Forg GT ever going to leave? (lol) and the Hydro pads are the poo once you get the proper combo working.
