Wow, Barry... cleaning the wheel arch to such degree and repainting the plate frame... it must be exhuasting! I didn't even do that to my own Porsche! lol

The owner will be so amazed at the car that he decides to get the engine tuned up with new sensors, plugs, and fluids. The Porsche Store will probably spend a day on it, griming up the paint and interior. After the tune up, the Porsche Store will then have the car washed by a high school student using a brush and dirty wash water, instilling swirls and RIDS.

That is when Barry comes in and makes another few hundred bucks from the owner of this Boxster!

That is soooooooooo TRUE... There is so many things I got beat into my head when I was in the military. Attention to detail was a huge one. I remember my section Sgt. could see the smallest of imperfections in your uniform from a mile away. LOL

You'd be 20 feet away and he'd be like come here soldier. Is that a button on your cargo pocket that is unrestrained?? PUSH

I'm truly speechless on what I just read and saw! You can't call that a detail.....a detail seems to be sub par as to what you did for this 911 and its owner.

Ohh and BTW, I don't know where this car is from now but last week I saw a black 911 driving down Rt 23 in Leola going towards the city. I was out having a smoke break at work (was "detailing" our rigs) when I saw the deepest....blackest.....most shined Porsche I've ever seen and now I'm reading about a very similar looking car here.
I do believe I saw one of Barry's work of art driving right past me!!

I can definitely understand what you mean by the Army instilling attention to detail. Because of it no detail that I've personally done has made me truly happy.....satisfied to an extent but not happy. Once I move out of the city and get a house with a man cave I'm sure that'll change.
