Here is a full restore of a 1962 MGA MKII 1600 roadster that is being prepped for sale. The car had been repainted some time ago and needed to be correctly polished to give it's full effect. Nothing went over looked on this car, all the chrome was treated, as well as the leather, wood, glass, etc. Without further adieu, here are the pics.
Process:
Wash/Degrease - Poorboy's Citrus Wash Menzerna 203 - orange Menzerna PO85RD - Green
Blackfire Wet Diamond - Blue
Pure Carnuaba Wax
Re: Oakes - Detailed: 1962 MGA MKII 1600 Roadster -
Wow! Great turn around! I'm pretty sure the owner was stoked at the outcome of that detail. What did you use on the brightworks to make them sparkle again? I have a hard time with chrome trim and bumpers and such and need to know what the best procedure for making them mirror-like again is.
