This Lexus IS250 came to us with some major paint problems. The car was full of swirls, holograms and deep rids. The owner had taken it to another detail shop in the area and I have to assume they are blind or might work in the dark as I could not believe the swirls and buffer trails in the paint. My 5 year old daughter thought it was a custom low rider paint job due to all the different holograms bouncing off the panels.
Here are some before shots of the damage...
I started tying different products, different pads, and a few different machines. I finally started out with the GI Extreme Cut using my Flex high-speed and the GI grey wool pad. I would come back with the GI yellow foam pad and M105, then finish off with the GI yellow foam pad and M205 on the 7424XP.
Here is my test spot with the above combo...
So I continued around the car with the above process and was very pleased with the results pre LSP.

Once I had the paint corrected witch took me just under 12 hours it was time for the detail.
I started out by spraying the wheels with a mixture of GI Tire Gel and APC. Using different brushes I was able to get them clean and look brand new.
I used a microfiber flat wash mitt to clean the wheel wells.
I applied the GI Signature Tire Dressing to the tires, putting on a few coats.
The interior was PH-cleaned using the GI Satin Leather Cleaner and then protected using the GI Satin Leather Polish.
Enjoy the finished shots...
By no means was this booked out as a 100% paint correction, the owner was on a budget and wanted us to get it best as we could in the time agreed on. I feel we got close to 90% to 95% correction with just a few deeper RIDS still visible that would have required some sanding work to remove.
Thanks for your time.

Mmmhmmm agree, great job on the correction. The garage pictures doesn't do your work justice. You should try to get a tripod for that, but other than that the outside shoes are amazing.

Even better than that is that I just tossed a few grand and got a real camera.. D5000. My shots should be so much better once i figure this thing out!
