94' Formula Firebird (Re-Hatched)

Process:

Wash:

Zaino Clay Bar
2-bucket wash

Correction:

Megs Burgandy Wool w/ Menzerna Powergloss
LC Orange w/ M205
LC Blue w/ Menzerna P085rd
Wet sanded w/ megs 2000/3000 unigrit

LSP:

Pinnacle Souveran Wax

Trim/Wheels/Tires:
Black Again on trim
Wheels got a coat of wheel wax
Tires got a coat of DP Tire Gel

another hammered/oxidized black car....what did I sign myself up for? laugh.gif:

Rear bumper was brought back to life:

What was once bird etchings and sap from years ago:

is now gone:

50/50 shot of the roof. (hard to tell the difference in this picture due to lighting)

So here's a close-up:

Some NASTY deep scratches were found on the hood, so I wet sanded them.

Also wet sanded 3-year old sap left on the hood:

After about 2 hours of polishing/sanding we have a 50/50 shot:

And another

(obviously the left side untouched)

All I could snap today. It's completely finished. When the owner picks it up and I do a final wipedown/trim/window treatment, I will snap some "full shots" outside of the car completely finished.

Only shots I could get of it, as I was in a rush to get to the gym and finish up my day before dark.

Again, looks good. Didn't like the love you were getting in the C&B section?

That looks great! Very good correction.

That LT1 looks great with the comp grey C6 wheels, now it just needs lowering, badly.

Re: 94' Formula Firebird (Re-Hatched)

Your detail was great. That car however is ugly and the wheels do not match at all. Again, you did a great job. How hard did you find the clear?

Re: 94' Formula Firebird (Re-Hatched)

thanks for the compliments...and of course the car is ugly, it's an fbody (non-first-gen).
