Harley-Davidson Softail. The bike was reasonably clean but the paint had a lot of swirls. I cleaned the bike with ONR and hit a few stubborn areas with Optimum Power Clean.
This shot is pretty typical of the entire bike's paint:
After #105 via G110 using a yellow Meguiars polishing pad:
Followed by #205 using the same machine/pad combo:
Left side of the tank polished with #105/205:
Now both sides:
All the chrome and stainless steel was polished with Optimum's Metal Polish, leather was treated with Leather Master's Leather Vital.

Looking good Scott! How has the durability been with cars you have applied Opti-Coat to? And any time est. on release date?
Andrew

Great job on the bike. I am really liking Optimum Metal Polish the more I use it.

Opti-Coat is supposed to last 3 years according to the main testers. I had it on my own car about 8 months and most likely due to my improper prep (applied it right over 14 months of 2x per month waxes) and using a sample that I'd had for a few months and had already opened a few times (which exposes the product to excess air and eventually caused it to cure in the bottle), towards the end of 8 months it was showing some signs of needing reapplication. I now have it on 2 customer's cars and both my parent's cars (1 since May) and so far, so good. I believe my prep and application were better than on my car. The latest version I have is in a syringe which keeps air away and makes application easier.
I really have no idea on the release date. Anthony Orosco would probably know more, he has been in on testing since the product was first developed.

Hey Scott great work! I was wondering, does the 205/105 leave any residue on black rubber or black porous plastics?
