2004 Infiniti G35 coupe. Only 21k miles and change. Owned by a high school English teacher who had a 6 mile round trip commute. Hadn't seen it in about a year, her son's 2nd child was premature so she's being going back and forth between Dallas and Chicago and the car's appearance needs has been secondary (as you can imagine). Overall it was in pretty good shape, headlights a bit oxidized but the paint looks pretty good.
Polished the paint with Meguiars #205 using a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and G110 DA polisher. Sealed with Optimum Opti-Seal.
==============
2005 Acura MDX. The owners bought it used, definitely had some repainting done (that wasn't disclosed to them) evident by the slight mismatch between the doors and front fender on the passenger side, light rotary swirls all over, some overspray in the door jambs and a dealer body shop sticker in the gas cap door. Anyway, I had about 6 hours to do an inside and out detail on it so the owner could pick her kids up at school on time.
I used Meguiars #205 via my Dewalt rotary using a yellow Meguiars polishing pad at 1200-1500 rpms, finishing at 1000 rpms and light pressure. Followed with my G110 DA polisher using the same polish/pad combo. #205/rotary removed the swirls (and put a huge dent in the spider swirls) left by the last person who polished it without leaving swirls of its own and #205/G110 made sure.
This was not a full correction but I was really happy with how the paint turned out for so comparatively little time compared to what I would have done had the owner wanted to pay extra.
Finished the MDX with very few minutes to spare so only a few pictures.
2004 Mercedes C280. The owner had bought the car for his brother brand new in 1994 and bought the car back to give to his soon to be 16-year-old son. The interior was in excellent condition (other than a few minor carpet stains it was MINT) but the paint was heavily oxidized.
Before:
After washing with Optimum ONR and claying with Opti-Clay:
Half and half polished shot (should be able to see the reflections on the passenger side-white isn't the best color to show the difference):
Polished the car using my G110 and Meguiars #105 compound with a yellow Meguiars polishing pad. I had to clean the pad after each section (using a damp towel) and switch it out halfway through. I then followed with Meguiars #151 Paint Reconditioning Cream via G110 and another yellow Meguiars polishing pad. I then sealed the paint with Opti-Seal.
2008 Bentley Continental GT Speed. 600 hp, AWD, 0-100 in a tick under 10 seconds.
The owner has it washed by either the guy who wash the planes where he keeps his or at the local tunnel wash. He isn't close enough for me to regularly wash it so the car gets minor spider swirls between details.
Meguiars #205 and a yellow polishing pad using my Dewalt rotary, 1200-1500 rpms, finishing out at 1000 rpms and light pressure.
I used an LED light to check for holograms, found 2-3 faint ones, so I followed with #205 and a black American Buffing waffle finishing pad at 1000 rpms, and waxed with Wolfang Fuzion.
Ugly, ugly wet day (rained 4-6 inches over the weekend) so no outside shots.
2005 Mercedes AMG CL55. Supercharged, about as quick as the Bentley.
I used to take care of this customer's vehicles weekly (he used to have an S600 and an S55) but after he and his wife divorced he bought a Dodge Charger (Hemi of course) and started traveling a lot. He recently purchased the CL55 and wasn't happy with the dealer's detail. Honestly, it wasn't bad, they probably just slapped some wax on it by hand and some shiny goop on the interior but they didn't trash it with a rotary or anything like that.
G110, #205, yellow polishing pad followed by Opti-Seal.
Leather and vinyl cleaned with Woolite HE and water (20:1), carpets and fabric with BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner. Vinyl dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus, leather with Leather Master's Leather Vital. Wood was protected with Opti-Seal (seriously looks amazing on wood trim).
He still had the '05 Charger, just wanted the interior cleaned. Should have taken some befores. Not trashed but leather was pretty dingy looking. Same process as the Benz, but no wood trim to protect.
Great work! What dilution ratio do you run your ONR to do wheels?
Wash dilution, 1 oz per 2 gallons of water. Adding more ONR doesn't seem to increase cleaning power, but it does add a bit more gloss and add lubricity, which is why the QD ratio is what it is.

The cars all came out great; although when cleaning the wheels you may not want to let the towel you are drying them with drag the ground as you do. Often times the towels will pick up a small rock and will scratch the finish of the wheels.
