Lamborghini Wheels off correction

Lamborghini going to the Concorso in need of refinement, no major swirls as I take care of the car pretty often. Spent the time on the wheels and interior as well as the dried out honeycomb grills.

Dave from Street Dreams helped for the first part of the detail but had to fly home to Joisy(New Jersey) and I could still use him, all the GI guys helped me this summer including Carbone Inc and Mark Zamzow.

Clean wheel with JS 109 curing

Correctly torqued wheel

Final wipe on wheels

Jewelling with 85 RD

With the lift finally operational, things are WAY EASIER NOW!!!

Working the interior

Engine clean up

Interior pics

Ready for sun pics

Sun pics ftw

Re: Lamborghini Wheels off correction

Really great work. My favorite Lambo color. That lift now makes you the envy of everyone on the forum that does not have one!

Re: Lamborghini Wheels off correction

My pics of the process

Me handling the wheels,

Bob handling the wash

Moving the car in and out of the shop... perks of the job

Bob first testing the lifts balance at all 4 corners

Then it was time to go higher:headbang:

Bob used his new protective sockets to remove the Gallardo's wheels, no scratching near the lugs!

Bob loosened the lugs while the car was planted, then raised it and took the wheels off the completely

The wheels on this car are off a Superleggera and super, light

Bob got to work on the undercarrige and I went to work on the wheels.

All tar spots inside were removed, the inners were clayed and then a coat of CG acrylic glaze was applied to the inner barrels and face of the wheels.

After buffing that off, 3 coats of jetseal were applied by hand and left to cure for 30minutes each

Suspension components cleaned up, followed by some light rust removal on the wheel hub

Undercarriage after some attention

Correction work...

Under the LED

3" inch pad and BP made work on the tight areas

Making our way around, thats all I got up to with my pics. Kirby will have professional photo emailed to Bob and he will post them

Re: Lamborghini Wheels off correction

Kirby's car is one of the best Gallardos around, Mild and understated in color and wild and crazy on the inside. Fred's Superlegera wheels really set it off along with the Macarbon wheel. And now i know why his car always looks so good, because you guys are cleaning it up.
