My pics of the process
Me handling the wheels,
Bob handling the wash
Moving the car in and out of the shop... perks of the job
Bob first testing the lifts balance at all 4 corners
Then it was time to go higher:headbang:
Bob used his new protective sockets to remove the Gallardo's wheels, no scratching near the lugs!
Bob loosened the lugs while the car was planted, then raised it and took the wheels off the completely
The wheels on this car are off a Superleggera and super, light
Bob got to work on the undercarrige and I went to work on the wheels.
All tar spots inside were removed, the inners were clayed and then a coat of CG acrylic glaze was applied to the inner barrels and face of the wheels.
After buffing that off, 3 coats of jetseal were applied by hand and left to cure for 30minutes each
Suspension components cleaned up, followed by some light rust removal on the wheel hub
Undercarriage after some attention
Correction work...
Under the LED
3" inch pad and BP made work on the tight areas
Making our way around, thats all I got up to with my pics. Kirby will have professional photo emailed to Bob and he will post them
