Re: Ford Model A Paint correction

I take it they didn't keep the same soy paint that it originally came with? That looks much better than any soy paints I've seen. Looks like you pulled it off nicely. But if you already have such a impressive detailing resume' why did you do this one as a freebie? Bigger payoff in the end?

Re: Ford Model A Paint correction

Well, i have been detailing cars since i was 14 because my dad manufactures custom headers for autos. He's done stuff for leno to overhaulin, but i have detailed some of his customers cars and thats how i learned.
I've been using mothers and other OTC products for years and i wanted to get serious about detailing. So I decided to buy from Chemical Guys. They are located 45 mins away from me and i bought the start up detail kit.( and no i don't work for chemical guys but i wish i did !). I just wear the apron to look "pro" if you know what i mean. I did that model a for free so that i could really show what i can do. Even though im 17 i have ALOOTT to learn about detailing. It's great that you guys like my stuff and i look forward to coming on here with questions for you guys !

Btw. What kind of polish should i have used?
I used the pro polish but there still some minor minor swirls that were driving me crazy.
