Premier Detailing 1933 Ford Phaeton

Its been very busy here lately, here is one I have been able to get online.

Basics are washed with megs shampoo +, clayed with sonus green, polished with P085RD on a Black LC CCS pad. Wiped down with 99.9 IPA, Waxed with some Swissvax, including SV Woodpolish, and Autobahn. All chrome polished with Raceglaze Chrome and Glass, then finished with Poorboys Black Hole. Leather with Leathermasters Strong Cleaner, and Vital conditioner. Tires cleaned with Bleche-White (an old American standby really) and dressed with SV Pneu. Areas that were wetsanded( 3 drips, and one dust in paint) were wetsanded with 3M 2500, followed with Menz SIP on a Black LC CCS pad. Exhaust tip was polished with P21s Polishing Soap. Glass cleaned with glass cleaner, then finished with Megs LT.

Please be patient photobucket is all out of sorts

Gorgeous machine...I LOVE that wood dash and the white faced gauges.

Great turn around. The people that built that car couldn't dream of the detailing equipment used today. It looks better than new.

Re: Premier Detailing 1933 Ford Phaeton

It was sprayed with Spies Hecker, thus it is the exact same as Mercedes paint. Its rock hard. Spies is probably the only paint I would ever use on my own personal restorations.
