SL65 AMG Black Series

This was a beautiful car. I never thought I would see one of these since there are only 175 of them. Hell I haven't seen the CLK Black Series yet. I was called to polish up some scratches on the quarter panels and trunk. I did not get pictures of the areas because they were very difficult to capture. The scratches came out probably 85-90%. The paint was super hard, I lost count how many passes I made per panel. PFW and 105 with the Makita. Clayed and waxed the rest of the car with DWG and UPGP, then simply admired this incredible machine. 661 horses, 738 ft pounds of torque $300K price tag. The body is all carbon fiber except the doors, those are the same doors from the regular SL.

Where was this thing parked? I would have imagined it being parked in some garage with marble floors.

Terrific car. And compared to the price in Europe, a bargain. Over there the price is 300K EUROS, which is roughly $417K. Looks fantastic.

Thanks for the clip, cool vid. Obviously he didn't like it LOL. Thats okay I loved working on it and being around it. By the way, when is Top Gear on now? I used to see it on Tuesday, what day is it on now? I can't find any new episodes.

I can only find the episodes online, I have all 13 seasons now from the BBC. I just watched this episode again the other night. Great car, but you can't put the power down with that amount of torque, and no electronic suspension like some of the other black models it just doesn't handle as well.

I've been hooked on Top Gear recently, and love the show, screw the US car shows, this show has it, great cars, whit, and reviews of what the car's can really do, not like Car & Driver TV...

There's a difference between Super car, and Hyper car. Has to do with the nuances basically. Hyper cars are like the Bugatti Veyron, Ascari A10, and the Zonda F. While Super cars are still the Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsche, etc.

I don't get BBCA either. But I just watched episode 4 for season 13 today, the torrent community has it online usually a few hours after it airs...
