Oakes - Detailed: 2000 Ford Mustang - 26 hours later...

This is a full detail of a 2000 Ford Mustang, this vehicle, both to mine and the owner's knowledge has never been buffed/corrected. The pictures show this very well, however the car is in great cosmetic shape inside and out for being a 10 year old ('99 production date) car. With that being said, the job itself consumed 26 working hours on the vehicle, over the course of 3 days mainly on the exterior.

The owner of this car also owns the 2010 Camaro SS I detailed, this Mustang was actually done before the Camaro arrived, just getting around to posting it.

Process:
Menzerna Power Gloss
Menzerna Power Finish 203
Menzerna Final Polish II
Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze
Optimum Poli-Seal
Collinite's NO.845 Insulator wax

Wheels:
Degreased: Ardex NewWave
Clayed
Mother's Chrome Polish
Optimum Poli Seal
Collinite's NO.845 Insulator wax

Before pictures: Won't consumer much space with these as there are a ton of 50/50 shots

Wheel Before/After

Engine Before/After - 2 hours alone on this

2.

Exhaust Before/After

On to the 50/50 shots, these photos were taken after one side was compounded with the PG and then followed up by the PF203 and FP2. Starting with the trunk:

Now on to the rear quarter panel

Some Fender action

How bout a little bit of the passenger door eh?

Rear Quarter Panel before, roof pillar is unpolished in the AFTER picture.

After, panel polished, roof pillar unpolished

Let's get some light reflection shots to show the lack of swirls/RIDS, these are after the polishing!

Glaze being applied, look at the uniform application, it's like I do this often or something...

Some finished reflection photos

Reflection shots Continued:

Everyone likes some interior photos right?

Passenger before/after

Rear Passenger before/after

Rear Driver before/after

Center console, with the cupholder removed, before/after

Door handle before/after

A finished, clean dashboard

License Plate before/after

Unfortunately, like every other day this week, it's raining outside so my favorite exterior photos will have to wait until it gets picked up. Hopefully these will do, don't worry, I'm just as disappointed but hey, can't win em all right?

Day Pics! Still cloudy but at least not raining anymore!

the car looks very nice man. great job Im not sure if that was a finished shot of the engine but i seen alot of compound residue down the fender. maybe it was just faded paint from wetsanding a jam because i seen it in both pictures. but outstanding work overall that things looks great.

The engine bay (and it's photos) was done before the paintwork began, that residue is in fact dried wax from previous details (wash and waxes) that was removed by an IPA wipedown after the final wash. Good look though! Thanks!

Thank you, and there are many different reasons for the auto tranny haha, car is also part of a shop that they use to test installs/parts on.

They have about 5-6 different Mustangs that are also their personal cars, this Auto V6, same body style Manual GT, an 07 GT with 550 hp, 07 V6 iirc, and a 2010 GT which is currently in my garage.
