04 Acura RSX Type S modded and detailed by Got_Leather

Finally had a little time to take care of my own car. It's hard when your always busy and then not getting paid to do it. Another reason for doing my car was another car for me to shoot and practice with the DSLR. It's getting there slowly. Well the car has been maintained with mostly Optimum since day one. Every once in a while I will test a product out but being silver it is sometimes hard to do so. The pictures you are about to see are after ONR wash, Opti-Seal, OCW. I usually do this routine bi-monthly and every other time I wash I apply OCW.

The car currently has 115k on it.

Thanks for looking

great looking car for 115k! Love what you did to it also, especially the black rims.

If you are looking for some tips with using the DSLR...you can take a look at my flickr (Flickr: gnotti211's Photostream) since I have come a far way in the past few years. I sometimes like making some pictures black and white depending on the light when the picture was taken.

Good luck with the car and your camera!

That looks better than from the dealer when new! Do you drive it in the winter since I don't see any chips?

I do drive it in the winter yes. But I do avoid driving in any inclement weather.

He also does not drive in Washington DC (HEHE). Potholes do not get along well with his suspension.

Great looking rsx. I love the K series motors. I have a very similar color WRX (color PSM). I have found that a DWG and UPGP combo really pops the silver. Also, CG Jetseal with either concorso or fuzion actually looks good as well. However I think the DWG and UPGP combo is great and low effort.

Keep them coming and what have you done to the RSX?

The RSX has..

cold air intake
race header
exhaust
clutch
flywheel
ECU (Street Tuned)
Intake Manifold / Gasket
Strut Bar
Koni Yellow shocks with Eibach springs...

Everything else you can see
