Re: Dealer hacked M3, factory hacked (says the dealer) X6, easy CTS

Nice work Scott. I'm impressed with the results you achieved with 205 on that M3.

Awesome work Scott... that M3 is beautiful!

I was curious... you said you dressed the leather with the Vital, I always thought that the Vital was to be used on leather that had already seen some wear and needed some help.

I use the protection cream to dress mine usually, but should I go with the Vital instead?

Thanks

5-6 months durability. Like always, depends on wash habits, where it is parked and enviromental conditions. Just revisited two vehicles I put Opti-Seal on righ before Thanksgiving and both were still beading nicely. No idea about how it compares to the DG combo, never used either.

Imatk-Seems to work fine on all leather, noticably softens it up. On older leather, I do multiple applications during the course of the detail.

amazing! I love the X6's

Question -- In your first post about the M3, did you say the sun worked in your favor or did you mean it wasn't in your favor? I was confused because I thought polishing/waxing out in the sun wasn't a good idea..

It works in my favor because the metal under the paint is fully expanded so the paint is too. Spider swirls seem to come out easier when the paint is warmed up vs when it is cold.

Wow great work as always. You seem to like 205 ... I just recieved a bottle and can't wait to try it out.

The more I see the X6 the more I like it - especially when you make it sparkle like that!
