Gloss-it /Gold Rush 2009

I just return with my (2008 Z06 slightly mod corvette) from my 3 day trip with the Gold Rush Rally part of luxury4play online community. This trip begin in San Fransisco would stop in LA for the night and would end in Las Vegas home and headquarters for Gloss-it. The whole trip was about 1500 miles not including the 500+ I drove to attend.

Many of the cars on this rally were a vast variety of every exotic car you could imagine. This was not a race, but I will have to say there were parts on rural back roads that we all had a chance to open up and put our car to the test! (epic route 58) I have to say its probably been the best time I have had in over ten years.

This Rally was a spin off from the Bullrun and gumball. Many of the attendees from the Goldrush were recent participants in the BR and GB this year.

My co-pilot was Justin who lives in northern Cali another L4P member and car enthusiast. My Financee Audrey who was to join as my co-pilot could not make it, but fortunately Justin step right up and was a pleasure to have aboard.

Justin help navigate and also take most of the pictures that you will see. If it was not for Justin I would have not been able to supply many of the pictures. ( Since I cannot drive and take pictures at speeds of 120 to 180. )

The best part of the trip was to get away from work and recharge my batteries. As many of you who are close to me already know I work day and night on gloss-it without rest.

This trip was a blast! I was tired and exhausted but in a good way, and had car lag much like jet lag for a few days.

The friends and people I met from all over the country and a few around the world were great people who shared the same common thread, passion for cars and the entrepreneurship to create and succeed.

I will now get on with the pictures. Please enjoy!

I will start with my arrival to Sexxy Bob shop / Auto Concierge. (The Vette was plaster with Bugs and needed a bath and lite detail before applying decals)

CG metal polish was used!..Good Stuff! Gloss-it soon to release our metal/aluminum polish.

Now we drive to the hotel down town San Fran.

Holy crap!!! LOl I have to find a way to get rich one of these days. You guys have all the fun in life... The cars are simply amazing. Some of the pics are halarious with gawkers taking pics.

Cool cars. I have a noob question- what do you call the blue "platform" that you guys use to wash/detail the car on top of? I'm assuming this is so you can catch all of the runoff?

Yes, this is a water retention mat. Many states now require you catch run off or pay heavy fines!
