Well since we don't get a whole lot of interior work on here lately I figured what the heck. I had this come in today. Lot's of dirt to take care of. The leather was in very sad shape as well. My pic's don't do it justice. (bad lighting on the before pics) It's a 2000 buick Park ave and I don't think it's ever been professionally cleaned. Apparently I came highly recommended to the client by another client I had at the old shop. He had his doubts he said because the leather was in such sad shape but wanted me to do whatever I could.
Basic process was simple enough
Products used was
Jet clean Emulsifier (phenominal product if you can ever find it)
Folex spot remover
Auto Gem Leather cleaner
Surf City Garage Vodoo leather treatment
Meg's Hyper dressing deluted to interior shine specs
Spray away Glass cleaner.
Machines used:
Wagner Steamer
Mytee Grand Prix Hp 100 Hot water extractor
6.5 Shop vac
A nylon brush and a lot of friggin scrubbing
Before:
Well when it came in it was obviously dirty. The build up of dirt and grime was insane. Over all it wasn't garbage filled or anything which I was more than thankful for. It looked more like a car that has seen it's share of dirt roads.

Again the leather on the befores.
First up was to get the leather back in shape. I started with the jet clean to loosen the built up grime. and then took the steamer to it to get the deep clean it needed.
After the leather was back in shape which took a few hours on it's own. I gave it the vodoo treatment to give it some much needed conditioners.
The carpet was simple enough really. I started with blowing everything up to the front compartment with the air hose.
Blew out all the crevices and cupholders and such.Worked from top to bottom and then from the back to the front. Once it was all settled up front I took the shop vac and vacuumed it all up. Then I took the nylon brush and dry aggitated it to loosen up even more dirt (since there was so much of it just built up in the nap) and re-vacuumed. Then it was time to wet it down and stain removal. The Folex and carpet shampoo got to work here. A light misting with the HWE and scrubbing until clean. Followed up by a total rinse system with the HWE. The mats were striped and the carpet was brushed in one direction for a nice clean look
And then once it was all clean it was shined with the
meg's HD to give a nice satin finish that looks new.

When the client showed up to pick the car up the first words out of his mouth we're " Holy crap you do good work" LOL and he saw why I came highly recommended. Always like hearing things like that. He took a bunch of business cards and said he would hand them out to anyone looking to get a detail in the area.

) - I think it came out way better and more naturally looking than the black Mercedes you did a while back. I'd love to get a steamer one of these days. I bet it would rock on dirty seatbelts.
