i visit dallas over the weekend and got 2 cars done.
the bimmer is an 04 garage keep most of the time , and the paint is in good shape. i think wasn`t wax so often, i couldn`t see too much swirl marks on it. the process i use is: wash with
nxt shampoo , meg clay bar on front/rear lights too , wash again , adress few scratches all around , clean wheels with meg some wheel cleaner , clean and dress tires.
80 on finish pad with rotary all the car , fallow by 2 coats of
nxt wax via
g110. all the outside balck plastic trims got some tire dressing , and rear trim got buff with finish pad because has some white stain on it.
also the exhaust tip got polish with meg
nxt metal polish paste.
i did some interior too.
total time around 7 hours
F150 is a truck use in construction, i mannage to remove most of the scratches , and all the oxidation. the paint start fade. this project was exterior only. and got the front and rear light restore too.
i didn`t go to full correction due the truck will be back in construction business and no need full correction , but i am sure looks better than before.
wash with nxt shampoo, clay bar , restore
headlights and taillights and upper stop light, wash again and proceed to test spot.
83 on polish pad with rotary all around , the scratches was wetsand with 2000 gritt , 2coats of nxt wax with finish pad and
g110.
total time around 8 hours , and i hate decals is a pain to tape.
