Immaculate Reflections - LT1 and LS1 Camaros

First up is a 1995 Z28. After a long time in the shop (getting a sick 383 LT1 installed for autoXing) and desperately needing a detail, we set it up. Owner requested just a basic detail. It was pretty overcast most of the day, so the pics aren't very bright, but the reflections came out nice.

Process:
-foamed with Dawn (heavy concentrate)
-clay with Zaino claybar with Megs Last Touch 50/50 as lube
-wash with Z7
-Megs APC 3:1 on wheels/tires
-Megs APC 5:1 on interior (extremely dusty) no pics though
-Zaino All in One
-Zaino Z5pro
-Zaino Z6
-Zaino Z16 on tires

Before pics:

soaking

All finished

Re: Immaculate Reflections - LT1 and LS1 Camaros

Next up is a 2000 Camaro SS. This SS was in pretty bad shape. After discussing the options and timeframe, we went for the basic detail + 1 stage of paint correction. I put some extra time into this one, and ended up finishing at about 1:30am I think. This car chewed up 3 claybars the contaminents were so bad! Oh and the exhaust tips were chipped and rusted, they weren't salvageable. Ok, onto the pics!

Process:
-foamed with Dawn (heavy concentrate)
-clay with Megs Agressive claybar with Megs Last Touch 50/50 as lube
-wash with Z7
-Megs APC 3:1 on wheels/tires
-Menzerna SIP on LC orange
-IPA wipedown
-Zaino Z5pro x2 with ZFX
-Zaino Z6
-Zaino Z16 on tires

what we started with:

finished claying the car. The paint was EXTREMELY contaminated. The residue is heavy to say the least.

Pictures of swirls

Same spot after just 1 stage . Better results that I expected from just 1 stage.

Finished pics at 1am

They aren't FM5's. I think they are Rebels.

Is that Galant a VR4? And whose FD?!

Good job on the cars though I don't think I've even used an entire claybar on a car before lol!

Yep they are. The VR4 was getting a turbo upgrade and trans swap at the time. The FD has had some work done to it. Did a 1 step correction on it, might post it later.

Thanks!
