Boring maintenance detaila

Even though I take care of these cars regularly they both had some "issues", first up MTK"S Ferrari Scuderia which I was prepping for the guy to wrap the car for the Gold Rush ralley in a few weeks turning the car from Grigio Medio(flat grey) to Gold and matte black.

I had not done the car since November for the SEMA show, and the owner drives this car DAILY

The wheels were pretty bad even with the Carbon ceramic brakes

Even though the pics might not show it, there was a pretty good amount of marring

The paint is pretty thin on this car from repeated corrections, so I hit it with GI one step a yellow polishing pad and the Flex DA, removed at least 90% percent of the defects

Corrected panel

Spent extra time in the engine bay, polished the carbonfiber airboxes and drip rails and is now super clean

Porsche 997 S Carrera PDK, Sharkwerks car that I do often but was hosed after a run with Excellence magazine this weekend and tree sap was everywhere

I like this shot because the car is in a poster I had made from the Tech Art catalog which this car is in driving down the road right after an earlier detail I completed

This pic is sweet as well with the reflection of the LED panel with the Porsche crest on it

We had nice sun today, not to hot so went to the cul de sac in front of the shop and snapped these pics

Daddy like this shot

Joe,

The correction on those barbie Escalades are murder, the tight spots on the A pillars require 2/32 circumfrance buffing pad mated to a Dremel

Re: Boring maintenance detaila

If detailing a Ferrari and a Porsche is "boredom"...

I'd like to be bored!

Nice work as always!
