Just the essentails please. Saab 97X and Mustang

So I overbooked yesterday because I honestly just had a vibe that the Mustang booked earlier in the week wasn't going to show. (she just happened to be an odd personality but very cool lady indeed) So I was a overwhelmed when both showed up. But I caught a lucky break with the Saab because the guy didn't want to pick it back up until today. Gave me some breathing room. Then another break when after inspecting both vehicles neither were in as bad as shape as the owners thought they were. The paint on both were in reletively good shape. The interiors needed winter washed away but for the most part a reletively easy choir with the HWE. I was very impressed with the Saab as it was closing in on 100,000 miles and still looked extreamly good (except for the engine bay which showed it's age) Both opted for the "Essentails" package which I did some extra's too. So i didn't take a whole lot of process pics but some decent before and after's..

First up the Mustang. pretty base model.

after a good washing, claying, did a 1 step on it, Topped it off with some classic wax, And got that interior looking good again for her.

really lovin the hyperdressing package... makes the tires look great

Couple of decent reflection shots on the silver paint.

This one reminds me of my dad's old fastback her used to own

And then for the Saab. I honestly never knew Saab made a SUV. The guy takes really good care of it considering it's a daily driver for him. I was expecting much much worse.

Again a good wash a great clay job, 1 step with 205 (just wanted to see what it could do on it's own) and a top off with some tropiglo wax.

Well, Saab really doesn't make an SUV do they? I was told by a Volvo dealer in Ohio that they are simply GMC's with Sabb cladding when I test drove one. I thought it was crap.

Nice job onthe details though!

Your right, all it is is a Trailblazer with a MUCH nicer interior, more stuff, and its own style...which I love to death! This is the last year they will be available though, they stopped making them. They are stupid cheap used though and hold up well with miles (this one shows it) ....as soon as I get my car paid off in a year and I finish up college i'm gonna find one of these to put in my driveway.

One of the best and yet most expensive investments I've ever made. Doing high volume work though (when I first opened the shop) I'd easily call it a nessecity over a want. It really holds up and does a phenominal job.. One of these days I'm going to make a vid of exactly what the difference is between just a regular $200 gas powered PW and why a heated one is so much better. it really is the difference between a regular shop vac and a HWE. especially on floor matts.

jake i ahve used the nice karcher befores! heats is a huge chemical and time saver for sure! a little heavy for my pocket right now! my next major move is a lift and garage makeover! nice work again pal!

Closed that up last winter there Dave.. The building literally started falling apart on me and the landlord had very little interest in fixing it. We even had to do our own snow removal because he didn't want to hire out a snow plow (per the contract) so when my lease was up in Jan I walked away and left the whole shop to the mechanic. I have a 2 car garage I work out of most of the time. But if needed I can go mobile very easily now. and have a few clients that have me come to them. I changed up the business plan to reflect a higher end service (for the flint area anyways) and changed the name from B&D Detailing to Bright Dynamics.

Nice job on both cars. I actually like the base Mustang and its factory wheels. The Saab 97X like other stated is a rebadged Trailblazer , but the interior is much better and on the latter models I think could get the 5.3L V8. ( although the 4.2 inline six is no slouch). I would recommend going the used route with buying a Saab. They are very good, durable cars but have horrible resale value compared to other luxury brands.
