Besides for being the clients daily driver, its also his track toy. So it has a "few" things done to the suspension.
Client wanted a complete interior/exterior done. So I called Bret in to help with this one as it had to be done in a day.
Process:
Valu-gard ABC paint decontamination wash.
Wheels cleaned with Valu-gard Custom wheel cleaner.
Tires and wells cleaned with ARO 1:1 water.
Used QEW as a lube for zaino clay.
Dried all surfaces.
Interior:
All interior cracks and crevices blown clean with compressed air.
Bret and I did a through vac, using brushes and compressed air. We had 2 vacs going and it still took us over 30 mins. Prior to extracting you want all the dirt out of the carpets.
While Bret worked on the leather (Zaino Z9/10) and hard surfaces 1Z einszett "Plastik-Reiniger" and "Tiefenpfleger." Bret also cleaned the interior glass with IG.
I started by extracting the mats, then the carpet. I pre-treated the mats/carpets with ultra pac and used dry slurry in my Mytee HP60 extractor.
Bret got done before I did so he applied Z-16 to the tires and ZAIO to the wheels.
When I finished extracting the carpets, I placed air movers in the car to dry the carpet while we polished the paint.
We tried a while LC classic pad via KBM on this soft clear, but it would not cut everything out.
KBM:
Orange classic LC pad/new
M105/PC6 w/ light pressure.
Black classic LC pad/M205/PC6 with normal pressure.
Foamed and washed car via 2BM w/ sheepskin mit.
Applied 2x of ZFX'd Z5pro, followed by Z8 to paint and side glass.
Front and rear glass cleaned with straight IPA and then treated with Aquapel.
Bret polished the large exhaust tip and muffler with
M105. They came out great!
