2009 Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series by Detail Werkz
This is one of my long term clients who is a professional golfer and loves to trick out his cars.
Before he even put a mile on this 2009 Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series, we blacked out all the emblems, painted the rims a dark bronze color and applied our clear shield on the full hood and full fenders as well as the front bumper and mirror caps. Blacked out the rear taillights and tinted the windows 15% with Pinnacle Series by FormulaOne.
Once it was back from all the paint and other upgrades we scheduled my Platinum High-Gloss treatment. There were quite of bit of spider webbing and swirls in the paint and I wanted to remove as much as possible on site and still keep in my 3 hour window for the detail.
I used the flex high speed with the GI yellow foam and the GI One Step Machine Polish. Using speed one I worked the area a few passes at a time and wiped clean with a 70/30 mixture to remove any oils and make sure I was removing the swirls and not filling them.
Once I had worked the whole vehicle I moved to the Cyclo and using the GI Evolution Polish and the green pads I went over the paint to refine and jewel the paint even more and to help remove any high speed buffer trails or holograms and refine the micro swirls to an almost 90%-95% correction job.
Once I had the vehicles paint corrected to my liking I applied the GI Signature High Gloss using my 7424 and the GI blue foam pad. I then applied 2 coats of the GI Concorso Gloss by hand and let that cure while we knocked out the interior.
First we applied the GI Satin Leather Cleaner on all the vinyls, plastics and rubber items and then topped them with the GI T.R.V. The seats were not left alone and received a PH cleaning with the GI Satin Leather Cleaner and topped with the GI Satin Leather Polish.
The tires were dressed using the GI Signature Tire Gloss and once the polishes were taken off a final application of GI Gloss Enhancer was applied to make this rare vehicle pop!
Total time with 3 guys was just a tad over 3 hours.

x 3 Jordan, it was Brian and two of his guys which is 9 man hours. Brian looks like you are getting ready for workouts with Rich and I @ SEMA this year(look at the guns) great job buddy, better enjoy working outside in DFW for only a little longer the last time I was in Dallas it was 200 degrees in July(well almost) lol.
