Jake - Thanks! You are always welcome when ever you are in town. I'd be disappointed if you didn't stop by! hehe! Right now I don't have a grand opening date set but I want to do one at some point this year. I want to get the shop in better order than it is now before I make that move. My wife works in the marketing department for our local hospital and other health centers around the county. We are going to meet with the person that handles all the PR stuff for them so she do something for us (probably barter services). She's got all the connections to local media, including the TV stations. I hope to get some good publicity from it.

I'm a HUGE fan of the barter system. I get alot of my advertising (as well as hair cuts, pizza's, the pets groomer etc LOL) through bartering. It's a powerful tool. I have family in your area. I'll tell them if they are in need to give you a call.

Yeah, I'm a big fan as well! I appreciate the referrals. I'll definitely take care of them if they call me!

Nice score Mike, congrats! Just curious though, do you have to recycle your water or have the waste water pumped? Or does it just go down the drain? They're really anal about that stuff here...

Re: Driven Auto Detail has moved indoors!

Thanks guys!

Apollo - To be quite honest, those drains just go into a "dry pit". The building was built years ago so it doesn't a modern drainage system. My landlord, who used to be a state trooper and has been on the Chamber of Commerce board, has told me that if it ever becomes an issue, we'll address it. For now though, it's just a "dry pit" drainage system.

Re: Driven Auto Detail has moved indoors!

Looks great, I guess your ONR days are over now that you have a nice place to wash like that? I always like to see your posts and you are a true pro.. If I lived near you I would not hesitate to bring my cars to you instead of trying to do it myself.. I am busy with my business and detailing the cars is something I do on the limited free time I have..

Re: Driven Auto Detail has moved indoors!

Thanks Danase & MC!

Mark77 - Thanks for the kind words! Honestly, even though my client details have moved to a traditional wash with Optimum Car Wash, I still add an ounce of ONR into the solution to aid in lubricity and help fight the hard water that we have in our area. I also still do some ONR washes on my won vehicles since it does such a great job. But in general, yes I do more traditional washing these days. ONR will always be in my arsenal though. It has so many uses I would be lost w/o it. Thanks again for all the compliments!
