Still went with UF. I have not been able to finish down COMPLETELY with 205 YET. I am still experimenting with it and talking to Jason and Kevin about it, but so far I find it to be a great replacement for anything from SIP to 106FF.

Right on. I've got a black Chevy truck I'm going to be working on this week and I'll see how UF compares to M205 for me. I never used the G110 to finish with yet. Wonder if the Flex makes a difference?

Well the thing is, UF isnt designed to do what 205 is obviously. So I wouldnt go from 105/UF. not sure if you meant you would try UF as a 3rd step and see if you get a better finish..good luck!

LOL. Sorry, I meant to say I will be trying UF after M205 to see if there is an improvement.

There was definitely an improvement on my TSX! I went over the whole car with M205 via Flex and W9207 pad. I thought the car looked great. Taped off a section and tried the UF with blue UK pad and POW! It definitely added something to a finish that looked LSP ready. It seemed more clear and darker.

I did also try UF on my Flex but it just seemed to work better on the rotary...it's almost like spreading butter on my paint!

I'm going to try playing around with them so more on a few other cars too.

Thanks for the tip Billy!

Yeah. I think M205 finishes down well enough for most of the clients I see with DD's. For high end customers on full corrections I will be following it up from now on though. I still think it a great polish and is VERY easy to work with and I'm definitely interested if Kevin or Jason has any new info for you on it.

Cheers,
Rasky

Re: Presidential Detailed: 490WHP 03 COBRA

I agree, I find 205 to be a great replacement for anything between SIP and 106ff. But I still think to get a perfect finish, that extra step still needs to be done. I am still experimenting with 205 though, so well see..
