So I just knew that once the weather broke the phone would ring and sure enough. It got into the mid 60's here today (so t-shirt weather by most standards) And a good regular called me up to let me know he picked up this 09' F350 recently and wanted to just get washed up clayed and good coat of wax on it. So nothing to extensive except for the size of this dang thing. I go pick it up and get it back to my house about 8:30 or so snap a couple before pics.
So I figure this thing only has 3000 miles on it and it shouldn't be to bad.... So I soak her down and gave her a nice bath... (finally took a process pic of me putting on the degreaser and APC on the wheels!!!! Hey it's a start LOL)
Getting the wheel wells as well.
After the bath And a good scrub down I do a quick check on the paint to see if it needs clayed and how bad it was... I mean it's only got 3000 miles right? UGG..I think this one rode the rails for awhile in transit. It was peppered. Took a whole clay bar to get right..
Got some new products in from Bob over there at Danase that I've been itching to try out. So I busted out the classic wax after the paint was back in shape. Must say I like this stuff. Not quite as easy to get off as Max Wax is but it does look great when taken off.
Couple reflections of Bob's wax in action
Not bad for 2 hours. I had my Final at college at noon. Then i came home and washed and waxed and removed a nasty scratch out of a 2009 jeep Commander that was fun. Didn't get any pics of that one though Anyways thanks for looking guys. And for letting me share. Still working on the process pics. I think I just need to set the camera on a timer and every so often just have it take random pics LOL
Going mobile these days huh? I've got a bad memory to begin with, but is this the first time you've posted your work? The Ford looks great after you worked your magic. I can't believe how many contaminants were on the paint already.
By the way, I haven't forgotten about your PM (again)...lol!

LOl No Mike I actually started posting a few C&B's just recently. Probably on the 2nd page by now but I have a couple of them from last season I just put up. Check them out if you like them .
And yea I was actually kind of shocked by how much was in that paint being so new. I'm thinking it just had to have been sitting on the lot for awhile. Now I gotta order more clay LOL.

Oops, I feel bad now for not seeing your other C&B's! I haven't been on here a whole lot lately so I'll use that as my excuse.
Anyway, it's good to see you're keeping busy!
