Re: Some more of my latest jobs...

Co-workers car, looking to sell and wanted to make it more presentable. I gave it my Fluff n' Buff, or so I call it detail. Paint had lots of swirls from either the dealer or body shop from previous paint work. Clear was very hard.

Process:

Wash - Gold Class
Clay - Agressive clay
M105 on rotary with Solo light cutting pad
PRC via FLEX and polishing pad
Wheels - WB
Tires - hyper dress

Carpet - APC+ and the little green.
Leather - APC followed by GC cleaner/conditoner
Dash - UID

Did a quicky on the engine, APC followed by HD.

Before

deep scratch

50/50 swirls on left

crusty carpet

grime in the leather

arm rest

After

no more scratch

No more swirls

Re: Some more of my latest jobs...

This car was actually a referral from another MOL member.

Owner recently purchased the car. The swirls came from either the dealer or the body shop. 75% of the car had been repainted at some point. There was both single stage and dual stage paint on the car. The holograms were pretty deep...

Process:

Wash - Gold Class
Clay - Aggressive Clay
M105 on rotary with wool cutting pad
M105 on rotary with W7207 pad

I could have almost went right to my LSP after the M105 and W7207 pad but wanted to be sure there were no swirls, as this was the owners main concern. I was getting micro marring with M80, M09, and D151. M66 with a finishing pad looked pretty good but I tried Menzurna Nano polish and it seemed to be a little better for this car.

Menz Nano via FLEX and W8207
LSP - NXT 2.0
Wheels - WB, followed by Mothers chrome polish
Tires - HD

Before

50/50 shots

All taped off

Headlight and tail lights got M105 treatment.

Before

After

The car ended up taking me about 9hrs so it was dark when the owner picked her up. Sorry no day pics.

All done.

Whoa, for a min there I thought your girl was giving us a show! haha Awesome job though.

Question for ya: Those garage lights, are those 8ft florescents? they look like they give off alot of light...im looking to get new lights in my garage. cant decide between 6-4ft or 4-8ft.

Yep. I have (8) dual bulb 8 foot lights....overkill I know.

Be sure to go with "daylight bulbs"! I went with the ones that said they were good for "work shops", which was the wrong bulb to get. I think you want 5200K bulbs.

Thanks! I use this garage only for detailing and have an attached garage for parking....though my roommates have to park outside!

Sorry, I copy pasted it from the MOL forum and didn't want to retype everything.....Meguiars Gold Class Cleaner/Conditioner (Spray)
