Talking A black Armada, Lexus, and Viper SRT10

The owner of this Armada received the truck after a few weeks at the body shop—I have no idea how they could let it go like this!

What do you mean you are supposed to remove the sanding marks?

This is a 50/50 after using only M205 with a flex and a polishing pad—we ultimately decided to use M105 first to remove the RIDS, but I think this shows that M205 has significant cut considering its ability to finish.

Re: A black Armada, Lexus, and Viper SRT10

We detailed this lexus a few weeks—just had to remove the dealer prep marks, seal, and apply paint protection film to the hood, fenders, front bumper, lights, fogs, mirrors, door cups, splash guard areas, and rear trunk.

We fixed the marring with M205 and sealed with UPP

This S550 was purchased used and needed *a lot* of reconditioning. While we detailed it, the shop mounted up the wheels and tires, audio/video was installed, and the tint was done.

We corrected with M105/flex/orange pad and finished with PO106FF/flex/ white LC pad. The paint was sealed with Collinite 476s(if any of you remember, this is the paint just didn’t “take” the collinite).

Here are the afters—sorry about the dust, the car sat for a few days before we took the pictures—we had to QD it before leaving, but I only wanted to do it once(we didn’t know when it was to be picked up).

Re: A black Armada, Lexus, and Viper SRT10

Here is a viper SRT10 that was brand new—the prep on these cars is just horrendous! I have no idea what is going on at the factories, but all of the ones that we have seen have been like this, with the exception of all of the fish eyes that this ne had…

Here you can see that they burned the paint while buffing:

DA marks:

Washed with a green SOS pad?

Random afters—we used M105/205 to fix the piant via flex and sealed with M26.

Music installed while at the shop:

Did you find any money in any of these? I think you should put a plaque outside your shop, "bring me your brutalized, your black paint yearning to be swirless..."

Wow, GREAT work! I can't believe all the damage in each of those vehicles. Those before/after M205 shots on the Armada are amazing.

Again, GREAT work!

Re: A black Armada, Lexus, and Viper SRT10

Just outstanding quality of work!!! the Armada owner probably wanted to kiss you after that rescue, they should drive over to the "body shop" and say this is how paint is corrected.......... but they will not care, here where I am at I only recommend two body shops for the entire Bay Area of Northern California.

Your sun shots are just incredible, really shows the corrective work.

Re: A black Armada, Lexus, and Viper SRT10

The Viper's paintwork and finishing was outsourced by Chrysler to Saleen. They are responsible for all paintwork and finishing on all Vipers. Obviously they are the problem!
