Talking Long time, no see--a few more Challengers

Hi Everyone! It’s been a while since I have had the chance to sit down and resize, host, pick pictures, etc. So with the rain today in Memphis I thought I might try and catch up a little.

We really don’t have time to take pictures like we would like, but we try to get as many as possible with the time that we have.

This first Challenger was just like all of the others that we have seen—dull, hazy, and of course the dealer prep was poor to say the least. It was hard to capture with the camera, but it was full of RIDS, wash scratches, and random marring.

We used M105 and FPII with a combination of the FLEX and rotary on the paint, we used mostly used orange LC pads for the cutting and Meguiars softbuff 2.0 for the finishing.

Here you can see where they sanded some trash out with a 2” dynabrade and failed to fully remove the marks. We see these spots all the time on new cars, and this was no exception.

We also installed paint protection film to the front bumper, door cups, mirrors, lights, front and rear splash guard areas, and the rear bumper (trunk protection).

This next challenger was just full of swirls, micromarring, dullness, and of course a few random dynabrade marks,

Sorry, no befores, we just didn’t have time.
We put PPF on the hood, fender, bumper, lights, door cups, front/rear splash guard areas, and rear bumper.

Here is a pic of the rear splash agurad area being installed:

Re: Long time, no see--a few more Challengers

This Challenger was sort of interesting—we detailed the car a few months ago and the owner wreck it. When he took it to the bodyshop they washed it before delivery, he complained as he had told them not to touch it. They then stated that they knew what we did, the lights we use (lol), etc. and that they could do the same job that we do—he gave them the chance to fix it. I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but eventually they paid us to fix it.

Wow that car looks awesome with the OEM wheels painted that way. Great job!! American cars are sure making a comeback...and strong. I just hope its not too late.
