Re: Wetsanding Flat
The end result looks great but I have a couple of questions. Why would you wax a freshly painted panel? And was the whole car a repaint? I would thing it would look off if the repainted fender was perfectly flat and the rest of the car had orange peel.

Re: Wetsanding Flat
yes th0001 your right ardex does have alot of great filling products, but when you cut a car right your not filling nothing. i found the ardex 1000 is actaully a good compound i found it to work nice. maybe my point is after you cut the car and the finish is left with nothing to fill, then it really wouldn't matter would it?
07e90 I think there is a lot of controversy over waxing a panel after fresh paint! in my personel exsperiance i found its alright to wax a panel if the paint was properly cured.
And the reason i sanded flat was because i can. lol just kidding i sanded flat because the rest of the truck really didn't have any orange peel at all.
Thank for the ?'s i answer them all from my own personal exsperiance.

Cool thanks for the info! As far as the reason why, "because I can" is perfect and always the best reason
Looks great!!!
