2006 honda odessy first click and brag

Just to say i been detailing now for about 9 years here in pa! i work full time for a dealership but i do my own side work out of my house. I have a full shop here with a heater, drain pit, it took me 2 years to get all the tools with three kids and wife. but slowly ill soon be able to go on my own fulltime. anyway the process

the prep
Degreased motor with ardex purple rush diluted 1 to 1
then door jambs with ardex purple rush diluted 1 to 5
next all tires and wheelwells with ardex purple rush straight
all wheels with ardex attack acid the strongest wheel cleaner i ever seen! works wonders
then i did my first wash with ardex wash and shine soap.
then i clayed all exterior parts of car. chrome, windows, paint, everywhere clay won't stick and grab. i love clay i think to a detailer its the best thing since sliced bread,
next i detard the whole lower half including wheel well lips with laquer.
then gave the car a foam bath. let sit for a few minutes, washed off, dried off, with a leaf blower!

Then moved from my wash bay to detailing area lol i pulled the car foward!

next i moved on to the interior
first i pulled anything that would come out. mats seats, plastics.
dry vapor steamed the headliner.
then ardex citrus cleaner on all interiour vinyl plastic leather then moved to carpets.
then doors and jambs.
i beleive when working on interiors i always found startin top to bottom inside to help works great for me. im a firm believer in process. over the years i listen, learned and developed what works for me.

next exterior
tape all edges, for two reasons it keeps compound dust out of jambs and stuff also prevents edge burning. then taped plastic. did i final wipe down of paint with prep solvent. all compound and polishing was done with dewalt rotary. then i used ardex 1000 rubing compound for the first cut with edge yellow foam pad. i found the edge pad works great with ardex's 1000 compound since its a water based compound. (provides less dusting) then i move onto the polish with ardex highline finish polish and edge blue polish pad foam. a great polish with some abrasive but leaves a great finish. in between steps i did a wipe down with prep solvent to make sure the surface had no swirls, and or marring. then i removed all tape. gave a quick bath to remove dust!

leaf blower dry
then retaped
sealed with eureka boss gloss a great jeweling product to bring out shine. i did the with rotary dewalt. then i applied colinites 845 insulator wax. the only wax ill ever use!!!
then dressed tires. although i like a natural finish this customer wanted them to shine so i used ardex ultra dressing with with a paint gun and a compressor and shot it on to tires like paint!!!
anyway some before photos i took these outside in 30 degree weahter it was cold still some snow so bare with me i didn't get to many.

Nice work do you have any pictures of the drivers side carpet afterward? It looked like quite the cleaning job.
