johnand-not having used SIP, I can't really say. What I did notice is that #105 seemed to cut the swirls out pretty quickly. I honestly thought this would be at least an 8-9 hour job until I saw how fast #105 was working. The car was in the full sun the whole day and Meguiars products tend to have the trade secret oils burn off rather quickly so you see the true condition of the paint within about 10 minutes-especially with #83.

78 today, but only 63 tomorrow and 50s for highs on the weekend.

Cyclo or Rotary? I just finished a C63 with the same color. Owner didnt want perfection, just minor swirl removal and a gloss increase. 3 Polishing steps on Flex and it was still an hour longer then you, and I was on a smaller car.

Great work as usual!

@Scott - are you using the recessed or flat-backed Ultrafina blue pad for finishing? Is there a difference aside from the backing design?
