08 Tundra

LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Tundras!!! Scheduled this one right after they got it and it was their turn this last weekend!

Pretty normal swirling but other than that it was clean. This was an exterior only detail but I did a quick run through on the interior which explains the lack of "before" interior pics.

Process

Tires
Megs DG
Opti Bond through compressor
Wheels
Megs WB
EZ Detail brush
Topped w/DP Surface Sealant
Wells
Megs DG
OB through compressor
Paint
Secret Sauce w/orange CCS
DG PBA
DG #105
AW
Interior
Vaccuumed
wiped down w/woolite and water mix
Glass got IG
Exterior glass got AW

Re: 08 Tundra

Looks very good, and the truck is nice.

Constructive criticism: In the 2nd "after" shot of the wheel, there is quite a bit of brake dust still sitting in the recessed areas of the face of the wheel. Just FYI.

Nice work, I was looking at getting one but they are expensive.

The owner is a friend on mine and he now knows not to have the dealer do anything to his cars. So that must have happened when they took it off the transport and did a quick clean up on it. Amazing that, after all the years of dealers holograming cars, they haven't learned anything about detailing.

Just make sure you don't jump on the tailgate too hard...they cave in with weight over 250 pounds.

Guess that's what happens when you use glue (Yes, glue) where real trucks use welds to try and cut corners and save a buck
