Park Avenue Detailing: Toyota Matrix (Nastiest interior to date for me)

First off, please excuse the crappy pics. I forgot my Nikon today so I had to settle for the camera phone. These are all before's I will take after's with my Nikon tomorrow as I have this car until Monday.

Process:

Garbage Removal ( Filled the garbage can up, with napkins, papers, random garbage)
Degrease and pressure wash jambs
Pressure was rear cargo area
Seat/Center Console removal
Vacuum #1
Scrub with brush to lift dirt
Vacuum #2
Blow out carpet with compressed air
Vacuum #3
Let carpet soak with Meg's APC
Extract with Mytee Lite
Meg's QID on interior surfaces

Afters to follow tomorrow.

not too bad, I've seen and done much worse than that. A good vacuum and extractor and that can be cleaned up in no time.

Wow, never seen an interior like that before. Looks like the person lives in the car.

I've already cleaned it, and as I posted it required 2 hours vacuum time.

I've done dirty cars before, but the pictures can't show you the sticky grime covering everything. Dog hair wrapped in coffee, it looked 10x worse in person. My dad and grandfather laughed and how disgusting it was when it arrived.

Not to mention, it's a Toyota and cheap Toyota carpet is garbage.

It's hard to believe that some people treat their interiors like a truck bed. At least they had you clean it up now before the interior carpeting was permanently stained. Looking forward to the afters.

Well i don't think that this one is nearly as bad as the meth lab car you were about to tackle. None the less, it still ranks up there as pretty damn nasty.

Good idea taking the seats out.

I'm looking forward to the afters.

Hey guys, I'll be getting the pictures up tomorrow. i forgot my camera at the garage.

Anyway's, it went well, pulls the seats out, center console, pressure washed the rails and console. Scrubbed every corner and extracted. Turn out good. There was also grease in numerous spot's in the headliner from the person's bike.

Re: Park Avenue Detailing: Toyota Matrix (Nastiest interior to date for me)

That's sad. I drive the same car. The Matrix is bulletproof! It's four years old and in better than showroom condition... requires so little effort. And I have two dogs and ride a bike too.

LOL! You drive a Chevy and a Buick and call Toyotas cheap!? I travel for a living... rent cars all over the country... mine and yours. I honestly find the Toyota fit, finish and materials so much better. Don't get me wrong... I like the HHRs and the PT Cruisers in the rental fleets so much that I'll probably buy one. I just find the Toyotas to be of a higher quality. To each his own, I guess.

Hey! Thanks for posting. Can't wait to see the turnaround. Hope you got a premium price.
