Presidential Detailed: Infiniti FX35

This customer just bought the car recently and wanted to get it cleaned up a bit. The previous owner was a snowbird so it mostly sat, but the paint wasnt kept up too well, looked like multiple auto-washes,etc. So we set up the detail, and I spent a couple days to get it back in shape. It was moderately difficult to get the defects back out of the paint, but we got it to about 95% corrected. Anyways, on to the pics!

Re: Presidential Detailed: Infiniti FX35

I forgot to get some before shots in the halogens, but the sun shots showed what condition the vehicle was in overall..here are the few that I did happen to capture..

Here is a 50/50 after SIP/Orange pad..

Now finished in the halogens..I had to hit some areas twice to get the correction I wanted.

Couple shots I got during the day..

I finished the vehicle after the sun was set, so I couldnt get any full pictures unfortunately..but here are some reflection shots for ya anyway!

Re: Presidential Detailed: Infiniti FX35

Oops, I forgot to post all of that. I used SIP/LC Orange, the follow it with PO85rd/Black. I was sort of on a time constraint, which is why I skipped the intermediate step, but the SIP finished very nicely on the Infiniti paint that it seemed OK to go straight to final polishing.

Re: Presidential Detailed: Infiniti FX35

For the SIP/Orange I start at 1800rpm, then work down from there.
Then I did PO85rd/Black at 1400rpms and worked down until finished.
