Did this car back in May and, unfortuantely, he had to take it to the dealership to get some work done. He told them "No washing", which, of course, meant that they were goig to wash it. When he went out to get the car he noticed that there were water dripping from the car. He asked about it and the guy told him that they had washed it. So.....of course......they swirled it and somehow manged to get some water spots on it. This is where I come in!!
He said he wanted to try DWG and their paint sealant so he brought it with him. I am SO glad he did! I was very impressed with this stuff!! It's been a while since I have been surpised by a wax or sealant! The instant cure time was a nice surprise as well as the instant difference it made in the paint! I ordered some that night and can't wait for it to get here!!
The only downside to this whole detail was his new rims.....

The outer ring is polished aluminum......with no clear coat!! Neither of us thought about it when I was washing the car and then drying it. I used a leafblower and, apparently, didn't get enough of the water off the rim so they waterspotted......bad! I had never encountered anything like that before so I had no idea what to do. I tried polish on it but in wouldn't take the waterspots out. I tried some water spot remover and it worked but it also left some scratches in the rims. So I had to lightly polish out the scratches and get it as good as I could. That was a scary one!! Anyone with any suggestions about how to deal with that would be very appreciated!!!
