BMW Z4, Porsche 996 Cabrio, BMW 650, Honda Fit

This car belongs to a forum member. It only has 9800 miles. It was a factory delivered car, and still had buffer trails. The interior only needed a vacuum and wipedown. 1Z Leather care was used on the seats. The wheels got P21S, the top was cleaned and sealed with Raggtop, and Meguiar's Hyper Dressing 2:1 was used on the tires and wheel wells. I washed the car - 2 bucket method, DG 901 wash, and clayed with Meguiar's white clay. For correction, I used SIP on the Flex, and a white LC pad. I followed with 106ff on a green LC german pad. CMW was used as the LSP, and buffed off with OCW. The PC with 4" pads were used in tight areas.

The Porsche belongs to the same person that owns the Z4. The interior got a vacuum, 1Z Leather care, QID wipedown, followed by 301. The top got Raggtop. I spot compounded with M105 with the Hitachi. I then polished the whole car with Zaino PC on the Flex with a green LC German pad. I followed that up with Z-AIO on the PC, with a 4" LC grey pad. I had to use Menz IP with the Flex on the bumpers. I applied Collinite 476 on top of the Z-AIO, as I LOVE the look of Collinite on silver. I really love the silver on this Porsche. Oh yeah, the wheels got P21S, agitated with a Swiaavax brush, and the tires and wells were dressed with Meguiar's water based dressing 2:1. The car was washed with ONR, 2 bucket method.

Re: BMW Z4, Porsche 996 Cabrio, BMW 650, Honda Fit

The client called me Thursday, said he was getting married the next day, and needed me to do something with his 650, so he could drive it away on the honeymoon. I told him I could come over at 7:00 on Friday, and he said that was great, but needed me out by noon. Of course, this was the infamous Jet Black, so I decided since I only had 5 hours to play with to do a thorough interior job, and to wash, clay, use RMG with the PC and a grey pad, and top with CMW. There just wasn't enough time to get into any correction. I arrived at 7:00am, and left out a few minutes after noon. It was raining, so there are no sun shots (but, I didn't do any correction anyways - and I told him this). On the interior, I used 1Z leather care, QID, and vacuumed. The top got Raggtop...
Befores (it was dark when I arrived...I used the flash on these)...

Interior Afters...

When you are polishing in a client's garage, it's always cool when they put something close by for you to sit your microfibers on...

Anyways, here's the afters...

And last, but not least, the Honda Fit...

Re: BMW Z4, Porsche 996 Cabrio, BMW 650, Honda Fit

This belongs to my in-laws. Family cars are awesome to try new products and techniques on, because typically, they won't sue you if you screw up. I used D151, and tried a new technique. I went over a section with the PC, and a white 4" LC pad. After working it, I went back over the same section (without removing the residue) with more D151 and a grey 4" LC pad. I then topped it with Dodo Hard Candy (which I LOVE). The tires and wheel wells got Water based dressing (Meguiar's). I washed with DG901 (foamed).
Afters only (but, it was pretty swirled before)...I got about an 85% correction. I wasn't thrilled with the D151, but I need to play with it some more...

Thanks for looking!!!

Looking good you have been busy! I don't think I really like the Porsche in a convertible but thats just my opinion. And when is the Ferrari going to be detailed?

Astonishing on the interior of the 6 series. One question:

When are you going to detail the other red bimmer?
