Re: 1967 Chevy Nova-The Ultimate Before and After

Pat, the car looks incedible!! The ultimate before & after for sure!

I have always been a GM muscle car nut. Some day, I hope to have a nice older Chevelle or Camaro. It's just getting crazy how much money some of the cars are bringing since Barret Jackson. My fathers got a pretty mint 70" Chevelle he is in the middle of restoring at the moment.

Anyways, congrats on the car, it looks great!

Love the color too!

Very well done, that red looks great with the body lines.

Re: 1967 Chevy Nova-The Ultimate Before and After

What an absolutely gorgeous car! WOW!!!!!!

After years of searching,I found a Butternut Yellow '66 Chevy II coupe 30 miles from here. I was able to buy it and I drove it for seven years before I wrecked it. A vehicle in front of me turned off and when he did there was a truck stalled in the road in front of him. I had no time to stop, and it trashed the front end of the car. I still haven't fixed it,but I haven't given up yet despite the fact the car isn't in very good shape now. It wasn't all that nice, but it was a good ride and drive! It looked pretty good with Cragar Street Stars on it also!

Regarding the English Custom Blends,I didn't have very good results with it at all by hand. I switched back to Mother's Billet, and it worked like a charm on the new Coy's wheels I bought for my truck. Does the E.C.P. work good with the Power Ball? I got better results by hand with the Mother's Billet than with a Powerball and Power Metal polish.

Re: 1967 Chevy Nova-The Ultimate Before and After

I scanned through the pictures when you first posted and then came back for another read when I could take my time and enjoy. What a beautiful resto on what is my favorite style Chevy II. It's great seeing a car blown apart in order to be done correctly and I'd like to see more pics of that too if you get a chance.

Re: 1967 Chevy Nova-The Ultimate Before and After

Great Job. The details really show.

66/7 Novas are by and far my favorite car of all time. I sold my last Buick with the hopes of finding one but they were all so expensive and most needed more work. I ended up w/ another Buick instead. One day....

I'm actually not far from you and I hit all the cruises in the area (mostly Delaware County), but I venture to Faulkner from time to time. There's a huge show this Sunday at Rose Tree Park in Media. My dad said they expect 700 cars. I'm not sure on all the details but send me a PM if you're interested. Maybe I'll see ya there.
